cause it discourages us and makes us think we don't have a chance and we quit trying. We lose our determination.Oh, sorry becky but you could not be more wrong in your assertion there.
As I am sure 'Pod can attest to , I am in NO WAY DISCOURAGED nor am ready to quit trying and HAVE NOT lost any determination.
ON the contrary, it fires me up and makes me even that much more determined to encourage folks to vote for the right guy.
Dissent, disagreement, etc is quite alright, so long as it is done intelligently, using good manners, and mutual consideration for others' opinions.

I deeply regret my absurd and uncivil comments directed toward you in post #58; It was way out of character for me to write such ignorant drivel. After all, in varied degrees, we clearly have mutual concerns and common beliefs as fellow Freepers. I am genuinely sorry.
To: F16Fighter
Okay, so I missed the typos.................BIG DEAL; not!
To: Neets
Thx for that 'Nita. Couldn't agree with you more.

Hey, no problem. Apology accepted in the spirit it was obviously given.

Are you saying that special needs children CAN'T learn math?

Well all clearly recognize at this point that spelling errors bother you, and apparently it bothers others at other places too.
Your incessant postings on any and all threads that she posts on, (making comments that aren't quite adult I might add), do not contribute to the subject of debate.

Not much more than rudimentary level.
Its foolish to assume that what works for honors level students will work just as well for kids w/ sever learning disabilities.

Well, it's a good rant, as rants go, you've gotta admit. And the ranter did use paragraphs! But you're right. And then the true believers in response to the accusation that they piss off the conservatives, try their best to piss off the conservatives even more, don't they! Boggles the mind.

Thanks! Thank you for accepting my apology, as well.
To: beckysueb
Thank you for that information. I am one of the nervous ones.
I appreciate all the people waxing eloquent about the President, the administration and what we have gained and what we have to lose.
To: sauropod
sever = severe. I have a cat on my shoulder.

Gosh, I'm so glad there are sensible folks like yourself around! If there weren't, I'd go mad...

I saw in a later post that you mentioned algebra. I do agree with you on that.
The Texas Education Agency and the State Board did that in Texas - under Ma Richards and the dims - over 10 years ago. But I believe the special needs are excluded. The problem is that many students are now being diagnosed special needs so that they are not required to take the state test.
