At least the left is consistent: WMDs are the problem, guns are the problem......

"Throughout this war there has been consistently fuzzy nomenclature that reflects mistaken logic: WMDs are supposedly the problem, rather than the tyrannical regimes that stockpile them...." Yes, indeed, their senseless illogic does cross oceans.

It is amazing to me that in this day and age people still attribute to inanimate objects the powers of thought, awareness and volition. Based on their statements and their actions, they appear to be saying that guns and WMD's (and SUVs, let's not forget them) are "bad gods" that not only act on their own to kill children and pollute the environment, but that they exert some kind of magical ability to influence human beings to do more of the same. Something about this strikes me as not only infantile in its naivete, but also sick and anti - G-d in nature. Of course, the last of these characteristics seems to infuse almost everything that these people do and say....
