Thanks, it seems as though the description of the perp these days is never given unless they are white as far as I've seen. Except for the guards description down in Freeport about the ME guy. Other than the guard being arrested for something else I have never heard anything about the white pick up or the ME guy again.

This border incident (post 503) between New York and Canada seemed odd to me. It's either a nut, a disgruntled alien or someone trying to divert attention. It definitely would help if we knew the ethnicity of the person shooting unless they didn't see him. At least they closed the border crossing, but I wonder what the surrounding area is like? Is there another place for someone to cross etc.

I found several articles this morning in UK and Canadian papers, but they all say the same thing as what I posted last night. Here is a map of the area.....just a small hop into US from there.

You summed it up well.
Granted it's hard to get a description when bullets are being sprayed about, but if one can tell a guy is in his 20's, more details should be available.

As for the BASF guard, he turned himself in on his warrant and as far as I can determine via news accounts; the shooting incident is still under investigation.
