Good lord, they just activated an Amber Alert on 750 KXL for a girl in WA. WHY do they have to use the Emergency Broadcast System tones! I think the Amber Alert system is great, but PLEASE use some other alert tones. I about fell off of my seat when I heard it!

You're not the only one. I'm in Idaho and when I saw that alert across the TV screen, I almost froze. I wondered if it was "the big event on its way..." I understand the urgency of finding this girl, but Civil Defense usage was unsettling.
