Maybe you could repost your ricin list on this thread. I still do not think we've heard the last of this story and that there is more to this ricin scare than we know. First of all, the CT powder and the Florida powder showed up simultaneously with the DC ricin. This would tend to rule out a copy cat. It’s rather coincidental that all has been quiet on the bio front until suddenly 3 or 4 suspicious packages show up in a 24 hour period. It’s like a re-run of ’01. Also, I found an article in the Guardian from as recent as January 12 which discusses that the French police were convinced that their country was the target of a planned chemical or bio attack by an Islamist cell linked to al-Qaida. From the article:
“An interior ministry official said evidence from Islamist militants arrested in the Lyon area last week made it "very plain" that an attack with the deadly botulism or ricin toxins was being actively prepared.”
