Vets_Husband_and_Wife Need Our Prayers!

"My Liver Doctor is wonderful. I've had the same specialist for over 10 years.

We do an Ultra Sound and a Cat Scan once a year. It works out to be one every six months. Last week was the Cat Scan.

This morning my Liver Doctor called to say there was a Lesion on my Liver. Thankfully Art was home with me, because to be honest, this really knocked the wind out of me. I guess I had gotten used to them always being negative.

My biggest fear has been the big "CA" of the Liver. That is why we screen so often for it, because of my disease. (Hep/C that I got while serving-see FR profile).

Anyway,.. we went into the Doctors office today and have more blood work tomorrow. An Ultrasound next Wednesday.

We are both scared (I'd be lying if I didn't admit it) but we also decided to stay strong, and pray that this is BENIGN, we are asking God for that, and are giving this worry over to Him.

We would REALLY appreciate some prayers. I'm so mentally exhausted and I don't have it in me to do post this right now. So we ask for your prayers that this lesion is BENIGN. We also ask that we can be STRONG and honor our Father and KEEP THE FAITH at all times!

Sorry to be late on this thread Mary Ann....I've been off the puter for a few days altogethr.

No one on FR has been more supportive to me and no doubt to others in times of turmoil, ill-health, and fear. Please know that I pray with all my heart for a good test report for you, for good health, good doctors, and an easy mind. The Good Lord loves you very much for all you've done for others, the reassurances you've given, the hands of strangers you've held online and turned them into friends.

You are the bravest of the brave and the most compassionate, caring human being imaginable. I join my heart with others on this thread as we lift our hands in prayer that you will be healed of any and all problems and enjoy the perfect health you so richly deserve.

I wonder if freepers really know how much support they give when they answer these threads. As someone who has been afforded the comfort of them, they help more than people can ever imagine!

We'd like to know something by Wednesday, but most likely won't know anything until Thursday. As soon as we do, we'll post. We are thinking positive,. and thinking BENIGN!

We love you too! This really is a family. We share a lot of common goals and moral issues that "matter". Lots of laughs too.

The support on this board is awesome. But it isn't surprizing.. because that is the kind of people freepers are.

PS. We feel so much better after having been lifted up by our FRiends in prayer on this thread. Then our Chiropractor's office had flowers for us on Friday with a card saying they are praying for us. And our Church has come through for us too. :o)
