No wonder the Rev. Al Sharpton - finishing way back in the pack yesterday in South Carolina, just weeks after being handed a hefty $5,500 fine from the Federal Election Commission - is so committed to his presidential campaign.

That's where the money is.

He's hoping to hang around long enough to qualify for federal matching funds so that tax dollars will flow to his campaign - and on into his pockets.

Why people don't SPIT on Sharpton is beyond me. He's worse than a flim flam man.

When Sharpton was stabbed, I was saddened by the outcome.

He's taken a page out of Rev. Jesse Jackson's playbook.

TRICKS OF THE TRADE AS TAUGHT BY THE REV. JESSE JACKSON.
How people can follow these two con-artists is beyond me.
Didn't these people learn anything from seeing Jim & Tami Bakker.

I got a kick outta Juan Williams last night on Fox. He said Sharpton's meager showing in SC, 25% of black vote, shows that the blacks are being 'verrry series' about whom they want for the nomination. HA!

C'mon Juan... don't feed us this sh_t! They got the word from the plantation boss on what to do in the voting booth.

Al Sharpton has plucked a page from the playbook of the Long dynasty of Louisiana, and made it uniquely his own. First make out your rivals as oppressors, then you are the "little man" fighting on the side of "the people". Unfortunately for the Reverend, this does not play as well in 2004 as it did in 1934. The current definition of "the people" includes a lot who cannot or will not stray off the plantation.

Yet We shove a split through Martha Stewart and roast her over an open fire. We are such a noble people. We find justification to ruin one life while "tsk-tsk-ing" another. Where is the outrage?

FDR considered Huey to be 'the most dangerous man in America'. Much like I consider HRC to be 'the most dangerous woman'. Long had the depression going for him and Roosevelts gov't 'make work' projects weren't fazing it.

Sharpton can't bring home the bacon like Jesse or any black, dem politician can... and the voters know this. Better an Edwards or even a Kerry.

What Long was doing was somewhat more akin to a 'implied' revolt than a difference in policy.
