Unlike her brother, at least Ms. Jackson is accepting responsibility.

She accepeted responsibility for nothing, as far as I can tell. She apologized to those who were "offended"...but never accepted blame for anything.

Did I miss it?

On one of the news shows tonight they said Janet's response was that the black part of her outfit was to come off and only reveal the red bra she had on under it. So she is admitting that it was pre-planned.

And on one of the news shows: FCC Michael Powell (before releasing his statement today about being outraged at what he and his family saw) called Viacom and told them he was coming after them. Viacom said they were checking into what happened and that they weren't responsible. Powell told them it wasn't just the crude act with Janet at the end of the show, but a culmulation (spell?) of the entire show. So I think our E-mails about the crotch grabbing, and words to the songs will be included.

Reporting tonight: About 500 channels showed this via CBS, so they each could be fined $27,000. Then they said each channel will sue CBS, who in turn will get the money from MTV (which they own) who will then go after Viacom, who owns it alllllll.

Oh, and that it is MTV's second offense - they were fined for a radio show and something they said??? Was it the sex thingy in the church?
