Nonsense. The UN gave us full support when we went after Bin Laden in Afghanistan and Arabs who were not already lunatics could understand it. Syria gave in, Pakistan did, Uzbekistan did, Tajikistan did, Egypt did, Indonesia did, Malaysia did.
Canada fought with us, the Germans are still helping us a lot over there.
When it is just obvious you are right no reasonable person denies you the right of defense.
The demonstrations in the Arab world started when a war to Iraq was declared against the will of the United Nations, backed with proofs weapons inspectors called "not authentic". The documents presented to prove the uranium deal in Africa was a forgery and the UN inspectors said it was so obvious that the US should have known. Now imagine how you read that story in the Arab papers...
We have the means to have the best intelligence so we should use it. Next time we need to defend our country we need to make the case bullet-proof, than we can convince and have no problem.
