With the Legislature all but ignoring Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's March 1 deadline for workers' compensation reform, battle lines are being drawn around the increasing likelihood that the issue will be decided by voters in November.

This is getting to be shear nonsense.

Why do we have a governor and legislature if the people are forced to be involved the process every time we turn around?

My advice to the citizenry is to send the governance a message by simply ignoring their edicts. If just 5% of California businesses would refuse to renew their workers comp insurance, the system would financially implode.
