I'll borrow part of a post that another freeper (Joanie F) wrote a couple days ago:

I voted for someone who told me that he stood for responsible, minimal governmentt. What I got was irresponsible, expanding government.

Since the blessed Reagan era, I have been betrayed twice. The first time was by Bush #1. But his betrayal wasn’t nearly as painful as his son’s. He wasn’t entrusted with cleaning up the stench created by eight years of the most traitorous, inept, immoral, socialist administration in our history. Bush #2 was entrusted with the job of leading us back toward, if not back onto, the path our Founders laid out.

He lost his way, and is dragging us – kicking and screaming -- further into the wilderness.

This president has supported virtually every left-wing socialist program that has come across his desk. And he’s even invented some himself.

This administration has spent more on entitlement/social programs (both existing and newly-created) than its free-spending, card-carrying admitted socialist predecessor.

This administration has capitulated to the anti-education teachers unions and stolen significant constitutional power from local school districts – enhancing the already abusive power of the Department of Indoctrination.

This administration has attempted to buy the votes and approval of its ideological enemies (fat chance!) by introducing amnesty for illegal aliens and increased funding for the National Endowment of the (more often than not degenerate, anti-Western civilization) ‘Arts’.

This administration has allowed the mass overseas migration of our manufacturing sector to be labeled ‘progress towards a more cerebral economy’ and has smugly sat back, nodding its head in apathetic agreement.

This administration has betrayed Taiwan in order to maintain the status quo with our most deadly ideological enemy.

This administration has allowed unelected, unaccountable monetary policymakers to manipulate free markets, to declare the laws of economics no longer valid, and to use magic tricks and semantics to redefine the dollar as nothing more than a promissory note backed by nothing more than the good faith of a government that has lost all integrity.

etc....

All of the above (and the dozens, if not hundreds, of other similar atrocities that have received the Bush administration’s stamp of approval) are either unconstitutional, or liberty/sovereignty/national security destructive. And there is one thing they all have in common: they are the enemy of conservative convictions.

All of these things are true and none of them are explained on this simplistic chart. What's your opinion of them?

Before I comment, are you really RiflemanSharp with a new handle? The posting and comment style seem eerily familiar.
