"Oh God, give victory to the mujahideen (holy warriors) everywhere," al-Taleb said. "Give them victory in Palestine. Oh God, make the Muslims triumphant and destroy their enemies and make this country and other Muslim countries safe. Oh God, inflict your wrath on the criminal Zionists."

God has given defeat to the mujahideen everywhere, Sheik.

When are you people going to realise He wants you to do His bidding, not the other way 'round?

Islamic people continue to meet our expectations.

This site should have a separate category entitled "There they go again."

This turd needs a bullit between his running lights.

Islam says every person will stand before God and answer for his deeds.

If they indeed pray to the god of the bible, the murderers are in for a big surprise, as well as the fools who give money for murder.

I wonder where those who criticize (for example) Pat Robertson or (for another) Jerry Falwell are when an example like that emerges? Oh yeah -- they're at fundraisers for opponents of the War on Terror. Here's something else of interest, which originally appeared in a year 2000 issue of Civilization with my apologies if it has appeared here before (probably a dead link):
Islam Faces a New Era
by Munawar A. Anees
"Yet it is pointless for Muslims to write endless critiques of Orientalism without producing an equivalent set of ideas. While the West is armed to the teeth with tools for comprehending the Muslim ethos, where is the Muslim scholarship that can lay claim to a comprehensive perception of Western ideological shifts? Where is the Muslim critique of modernity, postmodernism, structuralism, globalization?

"...Islam is not intrinsically opposed to ideals of justice, equality, and human dignity. It is folly to assume that technological sophistication or economic prosperity need weaken, or run counter to, religious belief.

"Meanwhile, at some distance from the ivory tower lies the grim reality of much of the Muslim world: poverty; mass illiteracy; want of basic hygiene and primary health facilities; lack of fundamental liberties of religion and speech; little protection from state persecution. The revolution in Iran raised the hopes of the dispossessed and disadvantaged masses for an Islamic revival; two decades later, we see the movement deteriorating in strength and falling victim to sectarian strife."
The wealth that has literally poured into the Middle East since the oil embargo -- triggered by their defeat in another genocidal war launched by Moslem countries against Israel, in a continuation of the Nazi agenda -- should have transformed the lives of the people who live there.

Instead, Iraq, with its huge oil reserves, spends untold billions on armaments, including biological, gas, and nuclear weapons.

Saudi Arabia supports Bin Laden, the Moslem Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the PLO, and only managed to eliminate budget deficits by jacking the OPEC crude prices over the past couple years.

Syria is literally bleeding itself to death in what is mostly military masturbation.

Jordan is home to a large fraction of all "Palestinians", many of whom had to flee Kuwait after their support for the Iraqi invasion made them unwelcome in the restored country.

Kissinger said, "no war without Egypt, no peace without Syria." Egypt is developing a large new gas field in the Sinai and sharing the gas with Gaza. But Egypt's next war will not be against Israel. Egypt, for all its problems, is in better shape than most, but has a radical "Islamic" paramilitary to worry about, mostly supported by the Saudis.

The Saudis are the viper in the nest. Well, the biggest one.

The prayer by Sheik Saleh al-Taleb to 500,000 people in Mecca's Grand Mosque and nearby streets came as the hajj neared its climax.

The proper "Amen!" to the Imam's Hajj prayer:
