Almost too cute to be a Viking Kitty. That's the secret. He lets people get close, blinded by his incredible innate cuteness, then he strikes. And I've got the hand scars to prove it.
I keep meaning to get a picture of him looking ferocious to use as a Viking Kitten thread picture...but every time he sees the digital camera come out, he goes all cute. Maybe if I dug up a small pointy helmet...

I have a similiar problem. My 5 pound persian is soooo cute and cuddly looking. I refer to her as my viking kitty.
I tell everyone who comes in the house not to pet her cause she's mean. 2 out of 5 times they have to find out the hard way. She is petted only when she wants it otherwise she'll draw blood. She's pretty verbal and lets me know when I can love on her otherwise she just gives me "the look" I have a 80 pound husky that runs from "that look".
