Lights are going out in Georgia but not for want of electricity.

Most integrals are alright, they just want to eliminate "13", "69" and "666".

They can them them as well, I can count to pi on the fingers got gave me! It helps after that pinky finger was mostly taken off when I was driving the General Lee away from Roscoe and his boys. *drinks moonshine*
There, that should be properly stupid.

Here's to the sequel - Scopes Monkey Trial, part II.
The religious right has adopted the tactics of the PC crowd - wonder how far it will go?

Where was the outrage from the History teachers, when they looked at their texbooks and discovered that half the history was missing, having been replaced by "inclusions".

I find it interesting the those in Georgia do something about the socialist dogma in schools and you all attack them for it. My what hypocrites you are.

No, I would be a hypocrite if I said one thing and did another. Creationism is garbage and I do not recall supporting it on this forum. Seeing as I have not violated my beliefs personal or private on this matter, I am not a hypocrite.

You lost me with "socialist" dogma. You are saying that to be educated and in tune with modern science is a vast left-wing conspiracy?

"When you say the word evolution, people automatically, whatever age they are, think of the man-monkey thing," Kielborn said.

I'm not sure I understand why all theories aren't taught. There must be some kind of paranoid fear behind those who only want to see the theory of evolution taught. Thankfully, my kids aren't in government schools, so they can be taught from all angles.
To: Ben Chad
"Whether you believe in creationism or not, evolution should be known and understood by the public," he argued. Exactly. They don't have to believe it, but they need to know what scientists believe.

Not to mention "imaginary numbers." Who believes in "imaginary numbers" anyway?

You are saying that to be educated and in tune with modern science is a vast left-wing conspiracy? Certain types always consider scientific progress to be anti-God. We're fighting a war with a bunch of them now.

And they need to know the many arguments against evolutionary theory from the many qualified scientists out there.
