When it comes to spoiled Hollywood behavior, Al Franken can apparently stay right with the best ... er, worst of them. As hundreds of reporters and other newspeople were waiting patiently for anywhere up to three hours to get on flights back to their newsrooms, or on to New Hampshire, after the Iowa caucuses, Al Franken decided that the wall to wall peoplefest at the Des Moines arport was not for him. The New York Post's Page Six reports that a "frenzied Franken marched to the front of the line." One witness told Richard Johnson and his staff: "He threw a complete drama queen snit. He went up to the security check-in and kept whining, 'I can't miss my flight!' - but the security guards wouldn't even entertain it." Other journos were not happy with the new, whining voice of Liberal radio. They told the Post: "There were a lot of other players in the line and we were all shouting at him, 'Hey, we're here too!'"

Oh yes it is true, and in the immortal words of P.J O'Rourke: "At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child- miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats". That is one of my favorite quotes of all time.
My contribution to the theory is that liberalism is the philosophy of little girl spoiled brats. Regardless of the sex of the practitioner, it fights with rotten-little-girls rules and thinking: cliques, pack-hunts, word-twisting, running to daddy (or any convenient authority figure), taboos, backstabbing, stressing feelings instead of facts, ducking responsibility, holding grudges forever, kicking opponents who are down, scratching, meanness, comparing your visible faults with their utopian ideals, and never fighting fair.
Liberals are the exact opposite of chivalric, noble acts. They are the opposite of Marquis of Queensbury. They are the antithesis of individual responsibility and thinking.
