I oft times discussed with other pharmacy employees the flu we saw for the 3 seasons prior was the strangest I've ever seen. I said odd how it starts nasal. Odd how folks who never had allergies,bronchitis, asthma began to get respiratory ills in mass numbers in 2000/2001. Add odd the increase of auto-immune deficiency disorders. Also those like my eldest being diagnosed with Bechet's, my brother in colorado dying from Hanta back in 2000. I've been believing it has been in our food supply since 2000 or our water. And this is my field, pharmaceuticals.

Piper, I'm sorry about your brother's passing...I recall a Hanta outbreak and knew you were particularly interested in Hanta but I didn't know your brother was affected. I'm so sorry.

Do you recall the Swine Flu vaccinations from around the mid-70's...I'm trying to find out more. Was there ever an outbreak, etc?

You hit the nail on the head. I had allergies hit me like a ton of bricks, starting in 1999, and it has actually gotten worse over the past few years.
