I hope he becomes Georgia's first black Senator since Reconstruction, if only for the pleasure of seeing the scowl on J.J, Fat Al's and Kweisi Mfume's faces. Herman Cain will be living proof blacks can escape the Liberal Plantation.

I understand there are some very viable black GOP candidates for the House this time around.

Whoever wins the GOP nomination for Senate in Georgia will likely be the Senator, but with House members running for the Senate that puts Cain at a disadvantage. House members tend to have better organization and fundraising ability in such races.
