Clark tells veterans he 'walks the walk' in experience

Wesley Clark said Wednesday he is the only Democratic candidate for president with the right mix of military, foreign policy and administrative skills, assuring fellow veterans "I can walk the walk, not just talk the talk."

"I'm a veteran, I've done leadership at the highest levels, I've worked with heads of state, I'm from the South, my mother was a secretary, and I can run well across this country -- and I can beat George W. Bush," Clark said.

I'm interested to see how well this criticism of Bush given his Vietnam National Guard service works. So far I'd say not well.

I think it actually works in Kerry's favor more than Clark's, if at all for either.

Clinton was from the south, his mother was a slut and sometime nurse (whose incompetence cost at least one patient his life), and he "ran well" across the country. So what?

Since the U.S. Army does not even have fixed wing aircraft, I doubt that the Army ever issued Wesley Clark a flight suit suitable for jet aircraft.
