I felt that Gephardt could have been a very strong challenger to Bush Nah, people will never vote for someone with no eyebrows ::grin::
Seriously, I think people view him as too much of a do-nothing lifer to put him into the White House.

Personally, I'm laughing at how Iowans think that a DemoRAT with 28 years political experience in Congress cannot win the White House....so they go with "new guy (NOT) in town." Says a lot about how strongly they support their supposedly good guys (former majority leader).
It's like admitting that the guy shouldn't have been there in the first place. How odd.
