So was Kerry uglier then or now?
To: nhoward14
Predicition: The Dean candidate never had any substance; it was all about the Big Mo. Now that Dean lost the Mo, he is toast. He will place 3rd in New Hampshire, then drop out.

Per AP Wire. Announced on NY Fox affiliate. Looks like AFSCME won a small victory with their support for Dean.
Don't forget also that Heinz 57 varieties of mood swings has similiar anger issues to the mad doctor. Can't see this clown win in SC.

Don't interrupt my hyperbole with facts. It is bad form. Irishmen embellish (or we forget, take your pick).
To: Kevin Curry
true.
but money mostly buys media time. the Dems get that for free through the "news" which is all filtered in their favor, so they need less money to run a presidential race.

The only thing Dean has
ever had is bile. Bile played well early on to the "I-despise-the-chimp" brigade, but he's peaked out on its effectiveness.
Dean's campaign reminds me of a high school footbal team that has perfected one play and one play only. Early on, no one could stop it. But it's getting stuffed on almost every down.
The question is, does he have another play? I don't think he does.

Our guess:
Dean
Clark
Kerry

You seem to lack much interest in Gephardt. That is very provincial of you.

My point is that the "class warfare" guy in the field just vanished into the snowy wind of Iowa.
Now it's nuts, flakes and the loons that feed upon them.

If we take this offline, how do we leverage the synergy we are seeing between the engaged resources and the temporary assets?

If you had watched the Kerry-Weld debates for the Senate, you would know that Kerry is a very strong debater indeed. I guess it depends on who the opponent is and how much people are paying attention.
Kerry can project a strong and self-assured facade in debates but his arguments don't hold up under the sort of close examination we can expect during a campaign for the White House.
This man is so full of hot air, contradictions and flimsy arguments I predict Bush will kick his sorry butt in debates.

If you are talking about New Hampshire, I agree. Dean may have lost some momentum now, but that doesn't mean he will lose New Hampshire.
Doesn't mean he will win either of course (espeically if that momentum he is getting is by going downhill).

I've read that Kerry was quite a swinger/womanizer at one time. Time for opposition research?
