You may have seen this before, but it has some telling info about the eventual outcomes of those 'land trusts'. Property Rights is not just a Western problem

No matter what you put into the documents detailing your options under the trust, you don't have enough money to take them on and win in court. You contribute to their legal bills out of the same pocket yours do -- yours -- because of the tax laws and the way the government aids and abets their positions.

brityank, Thanks for that link, it was a real eye-opener! You should consider re-posting that thread again.

Land trusts typically use conservation easements to permanently remove any future profit you heirs may get from the land.

I'll bet Mark got the ball rolling on this when he sued them.

Articles in the post probably didn't hurt either.

That is why it is important to circulate their names whenever they can be identified. If the government won't stop these outfits, the people will have to.

Great link brityank. "You heard it first on FReerepublic!"

I read this article in the Post this morning. I've been thinking and reading on it since then. I agree with the poster above that this is just for public consumption or possibly just to be sure the IRS [strong-arm for the international bankers/Federal Reserve] is getting the last penny due the bankers from the NC, because the IRS investigating the NC is like the pot calling the kettle black. They are peas in a pod, hand and glove, both sharing the same master. The NC is one of the FED's biggest assets. They might get a wrist-slapping. I would be surprised if it were otherwise. I will have more to say after I get some sleep.

Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the earth! http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Isa/5/8.html

Thomas Jefferson once said:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies . . . If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] . . . ***will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered . . . The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson -- The Debate Over The Recharter Of The Bank Bill, (1809)

***The IRS/Federal Reserve is the issue behind the issue.

On a side note....I ran across a pretty wild article written by Dave Foreman of the Wildlands Project. Didn't know if you all had seen it: http://www.twp.org/wildearth/campfire.html . [The real Dave Foreman here: http://www.wildlandsprojectrevealed.org ].

If you haven't read it yet, pick up Creature From Jekyll Island written by G. Edward Griffin; the Federal Reserve Bank isn't. It isn't Federal. It has no Reserves. It is not a Bank. It is a cartel that runs the US Treasury to the detriment of US Taxpayers and other World citizens.

I have heard of "Creature from Jekyll Island" for years, but have never read it. I have read a lot about the "Federal" "Reserve", however. I didn't know it ran other countries, though, until that story broke about Australia soldiers being given the go-ahead to fire on citizens (after they had been disarmed, of course. I posted it again, here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1058380/posts #127). I ended up on Lyndon LaRouches's site, and he had the whole run-down on the whole sorry mess, how the Federal Reserve was actually a gang of thieves, international in scope, and how they tied up the property of the world's citizens with fraud, deceit, cunning, usury, contrived wars and depressions, etc. etc.. Ever read John Coleman's "Committee of 300"? Just the comments at amazon.com are interesting. They will get their come-uppance one day. I hope and pray God is just giving them enough rope to hang themselves. "....He will catch them in their own craftiness." http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/1Cr/3/19.html

sauropod,

Do you know if that Dave Foreman article has ever been posted in its entirety? I haven't been able to read the whole thing yet; it gets my blood boiling. It really needs its own thread, IMO. It's outrageous!! Save it to disc, people.

I'll be back...

Thanks for the ping. The so-called environmental crowd has one goal: eliminate private protperty rights.

Ignore the sleeper-freepers who try to change the subject. You can recognize them when you click on their "about" page. They have none, because they are the same folks, under different names.
