This is both a prediction and a prophesy. Freepers, feedback. This "election" is not just all dems, but the heart of the rat pack. The activists, the bleeders, the nuts, and all the lefty's.
I haven't even mentioned Sharpton, somehow, someway, managing to bring race into this.
Let the slaughter begin.

I had lunch with a self-described "extreme liberal Democrat" today. He said he's in despair - Bush is unbeatable. I mentioned Dean, Lieberman, Kerry, Gephardt - he dismissed them all. And it's already too late for Hillary Clinton to swoop in and "save the party". They are toast.

I dunno Sonny. I know a lot of these people really well. They can throw a left hook, knock somebody on their butt and when it's all over they pick each other up and go out for drinks with their arms around each other's shoulders.
Those Dims do not hold grudges over Primary and Caucus votes. I've seen it happen before.
By Tuesday night, they will all be at the Union Hall, in front of the TV, booing GWB when he makes the SOTU address. That's my prediction.

I don't think it will be close enough for anyone to really get bent out of shape. I think Dean will win with a sufficient margin to make it look legit. Besides, the news media is going to keep a lid on the funny business. They don't want their friends in the Democratic party to be too embarrased. Not everyone gets their news from Drudge.

Unlikely in all but the largest areas in Iowa, and unlikely even then...the Dems that go to caucuses here are the hard core party activists - they all know one another...inbreeding in a political sense. Caucuses are held at the precinct level - as in neighborhoods - an outsider trying to horn in would stick out like Jesse Jackson at a KKK rally, and be about as welcome.

We'll see. I agree that Her Ankleship does not want to get anywhere close to this.

There are already rumors that Deans supporters are recruiting 17 year old high school kids due to a law that says they can take part in the caucuse as long as they can vote on election day in Novemeber. Source, US news and world report
That was on C-SPAN, I saw it, Dean was recruiting and explaining that to teenagers coming up to him.

Yikes, I thought for sure you were talking about the market since it will be closed on Monday. Hopefully action will be taken soon to secure the boarders.

The democratic party will look childish, corrupt, conniving, sneaky, and most of all, full of thugs, kooks, and cheats, or on just the minimum dishonest overzealous leftists.
Will?!
