Rush lead on his show today with the Mcnabb controversy.
What'd he say? Still defending his foolish statement?

What'd he say? Still defending his foolish statement? If he's still set on showing his "knowledge" re: football it would seem that he would have plenty of non-McNabb ammo re: Green Bay's soft defense & Favre's throw (both already mentioned) as well as Mike Martz's decision to not go for the win with time running out in St Louis.
Or, heck, he could fill the day talking about that idiot, Pete Rose.

I disagree that Rush's statement was foolish. The statistics bear him out. The Eagles offense is run oriented and McNabb's throwing stats don't rank him in the top 10 in any of his years as a starter. His teams have won on defense, and have never reached a Super Bowl. Only one black QB has won a Super Bowl, and Doug Williams was a pocket passer. I think his assertion that McNabb is considered a top QB by the media when the stats don't support it is evidence of him be correct.

What'd he say? Still defending his foolish statement? He played the whole ESPN episode in its entirety. The first time I heard the discussion in context.
It wasn't a foolish statement by itself. However, it did let his enemies fake their understanding of the comment by eluding racism. In that sense, it may have been foolish.
limbaugh was going out on a limb and it bit him.
then again I hear him spin practically every day.

Why can't he give it a rest? It's turning into a contest of wills. I expect more from Rush.

Do you pay attention to FACTS? What did Rush ACTUALLY say? Not what the liberal media said he said. Do you know that just AFTER Rush made his comments that the media was building McNabb to be more than his (at that time)playing warranted, that Michael Irving said, "Rush has a point"?
Did you know that at the time Rush said the MEDIA was placing too much hope on McNabb while INGNORING problems with the Philly defense, that McNabb was the lowest rate QB in ALL of the NFL? Did you know that the SUBJECT of the segment that day on ESPN was "What is WRONG with McNabb"?
