the undemocratic, hate-America groups with their very small membership have been able to infiltrate our government as superior and appeals court judges and perhaps even Supreme Court justices. They have usurped the power of Congress and, by their decisions, illegally amended the Constitution. Which, of course, was their plan all along.

Good article, but it's beyond beating a dead horse - it's like digging up the old nag, and kicking the carcass.

HELL IS FREEZING OVERIf the leaders of the Democratic Party want to have a Democratic president and Congress, they had better clean up their act soon and expel from the party the former communist supporters, socialists and hate-America groups, to once again be a true Democratic Party not an Undemocratic Party.

That would really make him stand out from the rest of the eight dwarves and energize the large number of rank-and-file RATS that supported and support the war. Polls say they are out there in rather large numbers. No kidding. Check this one out for proof of your premise.

The former Democratic Party, which represented the working class of America, has splintered and no longer represents just the hard-working working class.Correction: The former Democratic Party, which represented the working class of America, has splintered and no longer represents just the hard-working working class.
BTW, is that as opposed to the hard-working non-working class??
To: Old Sarge
to paraphrase, the democratic party needs to kick out the commies, socialists, and anti-american hate-mongers who want nothing but a controlling government with little or no freedom for the people and a from-those-who-can-to-those-who-need philosopy, so the democrats who fled to the republican party will return, allowing the democrats can get back to being a party in favor of a controlling government with little or no freedom for the people and a from-those-who-can-to-those-who-need philosopy.
Yes, that sounds about right

The Democratic Party does not need these left-wingers. Many loyal Democrats have now joined the Republican Party because they are against these hate-America individuals and had nowhere else to go except to the Republican Party. If the Democratic leaders threw these individuals out of the Democratic Party, many of the Democrats who joined the Republican Party would return to the Democratic Party and enable it to win the presidency and control of Congress. Let 'em stay and implode the 'RAT party ! ...

Scary stuff, folks, imho ...
Exposed: Pelosi's Socialist Ties
Pelosi leader of 'Progressive Caucus'

From those links, these excerpts ...
"DSA/USA, the 'Democratic Socialists of America' are the U.S. arm of the Socialist International. They share the symbol of the fist holding the rose, and they share the tasks to be accomplished in our case, an altogether different America ...
"Some time ago the date is missing from the descriptions 58 members of the U.S. House of Representatives formed a subdivision of the Democratic Socialists of America and called it the Progressive Caucus. Their statement of purpose, as well as their membership list, formed an integral part of the dsausa Web site (www.dsausa.org ). The membership list appeared on the screen with the continuous background of the fist holding the rose, should anyone have missed the connection with the Socialist International."
Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., the likely [she is now] new minority leader in the House of Representatives, serves on the executive committee of the socialist-leaning Progressive Caucus, a bloc of about 60 votes or nearly 30 percent of the minority vote in the lower chamber.
The Democratic Socialists of America's chief organizing goal is to work within the Democratic Party and remove the stigma attached to "socialism" in the eyes of most Americans.
"Stress our Democratic Party strategy and electoral work," explains an organizing document of the DSA. "The Democratic Party is something the public understands, and association with it takes the edge off. Stressing our Democratic Party work will establish some distance from the radical subculture and help integrate you to the milieu of the young liberals."

Shouldn't a group calling itself the "Progressive Caucus" espouse, well, progress (as opposed to centuries old ideas that have been tried and proven not to work)???
To: Still Thinking
Well, one would THINK so. They call themselves Progressives instead of Socialists because it makes the pill easier to swallow. When one HEARS Progressive, one usually doesn't think of Socialism. That's the big lie.
When you hear Progressive, think Socialism. That's what they really mean.

Hillary Clinton is not on the 'Progressive Caucus' list; is her name just not shown at her request, or is she REALLY not on that caucus?

Thanks for all the DSA info; from one of their archived websites is THEIR 1992 agenda. The following are three areas that they wanted to change; I take particular offense at how they were intending to pay for their agenda:
A Progressive Agenda
From the Democratic Socialists of America (1992)
http://web.archive.org/web/19970101000000-19980101235959/http://www.dsausa.org/Lit/ProgPlat.html 5. Advocate workplace democracy and greater income equality.
Create a favorable environment and fair procedures for union organizing.
Require broader affirmative action programs in hiring, promotions and scholarships.
Raise the minimum wage.
Ban striker replacement. Discourage super-high executive salaries.
7. Institute Canadian-style single-payer health care reform.
Provide health care to all Americans with no deductibles, no co-payments, no out-of-pocket expenses, and doctor choice.
Insure that every person living in the U.S. receives quality health care regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, income, age or ability.
12. How would we pay for it?
Reduce defense spending by 50 percent.
Institute a progressive tax system by lowering payroll taxes and restoring the highest tax bracket to its 1977 levels

Low defense spending and in 1977 didn't we have the 70% tax bracket ? They would cut defense and spend it on their Socialist agenda. I object too !
