Is this normal for Ed Koch? I don't know a lot about him but he seems to make a lot of sense.

This is but one more sign that people with at least an ounce of sense, are shying away from the Democrat Party. GOP landslides by Reagan and also in 1994, plus huge gains at state levels, would also indicate disfavor with th liberal left.
Question: What has been the response from our nations Republican leadership? Have they triumphantly stuck with traditional conservative values? You have to look at what your Congress-critters have been up to, especially in the Senate. Have administration officials followed up the grassroots movement to the right? Look closely at the Education Department (is that abomination still around?), INS, Interior, Justice (?), etc.

This makes perfect sense to me.Look at what the clintons have done or trying to do to the democrat party. It is time for the clintons to get the hell out. Then they can put all thier energy to marxist parties.

There are more democrats in the republican party than republicans. That is why the GOP has moved so far left..at least with some issues. If you are a conservative democrat there is not place for you in the democrat party. But the is a place for you in the republican party. Zell Miller to name one.

The Democrat now leading in the race, former governor Howard Dean, is a disgrace. His willingness to publicly entertain the slander that President Bush had advance warning of the September 11 attacks and his statement that America is no safer as a result of the capture of Saddam Hussein should have been sufficient to end his candidacy.Your candidates demise, along with YOUR PARTY'S extinction, will be left to we the people....Mr. Ed.
Welcome aboard, but your socialist domestic agenda is also doomed

Our philosophy is: "If you need a helping hand, we will provide it." - Ed Koch Actually, Ed, you've got this one a bit wrong.
It should read, "Our philosophy is: 'If you need a helping hand, we will make the taxpayers provide it.'"
