When in doubt, blame Bush. President Bush, that is.

Such is the motto of liberals, Democrats, partisan populists and other disgruntled folk who connect the dots, find a convenient target, then mount their soapbox.

Various critics recently have blamed Mr. Bush for mad cow disease, influenza, increased oil prices, poverty, water shortages, unemployment, the September 11 attacks and the potential extinction of Alaska's Inuit people because of global warming

"If some Nigerians learned lessons in capitalism from global oil companies that helped corrupt and despoil that land, it is hardly surprising they absorbed some of the Texan oil values that now rule the White House," she wrote in the Dec. 17 issue of the paper.

Sheesh. Then I blame Bush for my work receiving Nigerian faxes for the eight years before he took office.

Right? Am I right? Anyone? Is this how I do it?

Anybody who answers unsolicited e-mails asking for money from Nigeria or anywhere else in this world is just too immature to trusted with money.

Unless of course the communication is from me. Trust me. I am rigidly honest.

Yes, people who get taken in on these things, IMO, don't deserve to have that money. Hey, I'll go in with your communication plan. Juse FReepmail me all your checking account routing numbers. I'll take care of the rest. I am as honest as the day is long. ;o)

While Gore invented the internet, Bush obviously invented computer viruses. See? Democrats, good. Republicans, bad.

No, no, no.. You're just not doing it right.

Ahem, let's see if I can get the right frame of mind going here.. Ahh, there it is.

Bush is a virus. His idiocy infects others, using the right wing media to spread faster than the blaster worm.

Whew. That hurts, ya know? To reduce my intelligence to the level of those goons...

Funny. And I saw Ann Coulter on Fox the other night. She always comes up with great lines. She was talking about her favorite rat candidate is Kucinich. She said: "If Fox News was as much a right-wing station as the critics claim, you'd be showing footage of Dennis Kucinich 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

The problem that this article has not covered; is that the wounds that a President endures in our modern nanny state are self-inflicted. By the time a President is elected he has made the commitment to fix everything for his constituency. The ordinary citizen, being as gullible as he is, takes him at his word. The voter is not aware that there is a Congress involved in the process, public opinion and economic factors to consider.

In reality, in modern America, we are not asked to elect an executive to carry out the directions and budget of the legislature, but we are asked to elect a king or benevolent dictator. Instead of truth in advertising we have promise much and deliver less. As long as the public likes being mislead, the saga will continue.

Sorry, there are a number of very well meaning citizens, usually older people, who are taken by Nigerian cons.

Most of the time, these people are just trying to help someone out or who have lost the mettle to resist.

Confidence people say they cannot take an honest person.

Wrong.

Many just prey upon the good nature of people.

Where I used to work we had a real looney liberal who blamed then President Reagan for the the theft of the micro-wave in the break room. Seemed that the Presidents "scoff-law" attitude in the Iran-Contra affair had had such a debilitating effect on the morals of the entire nation that someone believed they could steal the micro-wave. He said it with a straight face!

The temperature here in Washington, D.C. is 6 degrees, -8 degrees with the chill factor. It's Bush's fault of course.

His defense of Western Civilization trumps all.

Even the $2,000,000,000,000.00 new entitlement. For which I blame Bush.
