I don't believe this. I think someone hacked the site. The top 3 boys' names are all too similar and I've never heard of two of the three.

George Foreman has the right idea; he named his sons "George", "George", "George", and "George".

on't believe this. I think someone hacked the site. The top 3 boys' names are all too similar and I've never heard of two of the three. My first thought too..I've never heard of anyone naming their kids any of those. I've never known anyone by those names as a matter of fact.

These actually seems like nice names. I've heard worse. (much)

I am still glad I named our daughter Sarah, Elizabeth (middle name). She is our little Princess ;) We don't need trendy or pretentious names.

BTW, it's no surprise names are moving away from Biblical names ... look at the direction our social mores are taking ... in the toilet. We purposely picked Biblical names. Helps bring the Bible alive since they are her namesake.

BabyNames.com compiles this annual ranking of the top 20 most popular baby names using the favorite name lists created on the Web site by more than 100,000 expectant parents. In other words, it has no validity whatsoever. I'll wait for Social Security to release their 2003 list of ACTUAL names given to ACTUAL babies.

For my two little boys, we purposely chose names which we felt were not common, and yet not unheard of. I checked all the baby name lists to make sure they werent in the top 20. No matter what though, you can pick a name now that becomes all the rage in a couple of years... so just pick something you like I guess...

Andrew, Ava and Grace are all "family" names and I if I am blessed with any more children those names are in the running....Elizabeth, Victoria, Peter, Michael and Ian have been named after loved ones, parents, aunties or uncles....not according to a "trend".
