Assume you've been playing $5 a week for a year. 52 x 5 = $260. You've won $100. You're $160 in the hole!

A better ruse - take the $5 weekly and invest in comic books. Sit on them 10 years then resell - much better return.

$100 once.

So you're still in the hole at least $160 for that year you won the $100. How about the other years you've played and lost?

Im 26.

Which means that if you continue to play the lottery at the same pace for the next 26 years, you will be have lost approximately $6,500. Money that could have earned interest in your bank account and would be worth far higher.

Good thinking.

I think thats a pretty good history.

How old were you when you quit school?

Its better than tobaccy

No, not really.

There's little difference between throwing money away that could make your life and the lives of your children happier and taking a substance that takes your life from you.
