This website is so biased, I actually have fun visiting it. I know there's a poster out there that says Ithaca is the city of evil. It seems that the author lives there, perhaps bolstering his point.

Look, little lady, if it's charity you want, take your plea to any of a few thousand charitable organizations, any of whom are anxious to help you through your time of need.

You see, when it comes to charity, I'm old fashioned; I prefer that charitable giving happen voluntarily, rather than under the threat of prosecution (e.g. taxation). You're demanding nothing short of government-sanctioned theft.
