Maybe I'm confused, but I don't think you need to believe another group is inferior to be racist. It's the hatred of another group that is racist.

For that matter, I guess it's possible to believe another group inferior without hating them.

But I agree that few blacks think whites are inferior. They hate them for other reasons.

I think the main meaning of racism is the belief that members of one race are superior to that of another.
