Short of direct incitements to immediate violence, or posts made dishonestly and in bad faith for the express purpose of causing damage, I would restrict no comments made on these threads. I'm not saying the PsTB are in error for doing so. The owner
ought to set and enforce the rules. I am saying that I will never do what you are attempting to do: seeking to distill a consensus around a nucleus of supposed influential posters to indirectly marginalize voices that might strike me as loud and crude.
There have been extremely vicious posts made attacking me over the years. I have never once hit the abuse button. Ad hominems? I simply ignore them.
Again, I believe there is a value--a good--that can be discerned in expressions of honestly-held anger and deep frustration. I would not seek to coerce angry and frustrated posters to satisfy some Rodney King-style plaintive PC-squeak: "Can't we all just get along?"
Occasionally, we can't. Occasionally Bush and Rove need to know they have rocked the chair onto the cat's tail, and the cat is in no mood to dispassionately discuss the finer points of the physics and placement of fulcrum points.

It's not a headache for the mods, it is physically impossible to read every thread and every post. That's why we ask you report abuse to us if you see it.

Who am I pitting against who? Bush has done some things that make me question his conservatism.
Do you agree or disagree with the question that Bush has enacted and proposed socialist policies, that are in defiance of constitutionally protected freedoms? ie:
Patriot Act
CFR
Or the massive socialist Medicaid entitlement for seniors, and giving SS benefits and amnesty to illegals from other countries?

Well I went to my best friend's daughter's Christmas pageant this year, and nearly fell out of my chair as the kindergartners sang two songs in Spanish! For the love of God! Have them master the ENGLISH language first! I was in shock. And yes, we have a large migrant farmer population where I live.

My daughter in second year of Spanish and HATES EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! Tell her to take Arabic. She can probably find a good job in intelligence.

"I was actually suspended the other day for posting/bumping someone else's post!"
No, you were suspended because after I told someone that something was inappropriate, you immediately jumped on me about it, posted it again, I pulled it and told you I wasn't kidding, and you did it again (after I had left for the day, which you didn't know. You got to spend several hours on that thread trashing it even worse afterwards).
I restored the posts so others can see how it went down. The thread is here.

Patriot Act
CFR The Patriot act hasn't affected me one bit and has stopped terrorists.
CFR was a political call, do I agree with all of it, no. But it ain't the end of the world, dude.

You win. Although it may surprise many (or not), there are a large number of migrant farmers that 'live' in West Michigan.
To: Neets
Yep.

Now isn't that an interesting little tid bit.

"I have noticed a lot od deleted posts on some of these immigration threads. I don't know what was said because I always seem to get there after they are deleted. I do suspect it has something to do with the outright anger and frustration we feel over the outright betrayal of our country by this administration which I used to admire."
I think the posts were critical of, primarily, illegal Mexicans, which one can't be nowadays. Must not upset the Mexican voter, ya know.
To: rintense
Not suprising. They are all over the north.

So you agree with Medicaid and Proposed Amnesty, or did you just forget to reply to those two as well?
