OBL does mention recent events in this tape. And the CIA keeps telling us that he's alive and that according to voice print analysis this latest tape is 'genuine'.  


(I won't re-open those 9-11 conspiracy theories about the CIA letting bin Laden go, won't do it, I didn't say it, won't even go there, nope, not me...).
