Most men are idiots about male/female relationships and relationships in general. Men are good at conquests, fighting, working hard, achieving by brute or intellectual force etc. There might be an evolutionary reason for that. It may be a disadvantage for a guy to become too emotionally attuned to the feelings of somebody if he may have a need to put an ax blade thru the guys forehead
