There is nothing likeable about Islam--it is a cult of conquest and rule. People believe it.

Islam may be growing by conversion and birthrate, but while many considering to not be growing by possibly the former, and dfeinitely the latter, that is not the case. The Next Christendom: The Coming of Global Christianity shows how demographics show that Christians will still out number Muslims. However, currently, the growth in Christianity will not be coming from the Western World. Christianity will be growing in the third worls and South of the Western World.

Amen; Islam is aggressive, militant, and intolerant. Just witness the fury aimed at its critics _in the U.S. alone_, by non-Islamic defenders who see Islam as a co-belligerent in their war against America. Recall Gloria Steinem and how she sang the praises of Ayatollah Khomeini just as he was putting millions of once-liberated Iranian women into burqas and chadors. "If it's anti-American, it's just got to be good" is the refrain of these swine!

If the author is correct, and my reading of the Koran confirms that he is, then we are entering into the beginning of global warfare: WWIII. The Koran is to our generation what Mein Kampf was to the greatest generation--a blueprint for all to see that our enemy's fundamental ideology calls for our destruction. I know quite a few Muslims and find them to be enjoyable and outgoing friends. They maintain a certain naivete that is quite charming. But they practice their religion like the typical Christian--when it is convenient. This is the Islamic middle class. However, as world terrorist events and counterstrikes increase and Western and pro-Western states begin to suppress the Islamic middle class, more and more Muslims will turn to the Koran for instruction and find that armed domination of the West is the call of their Holy Book and their Prophet. It is when this middle class begins to "walk their talk" that all hell will break loose. The sooner we recognize these facts, the smaller our losses will be.

It is equallyt maddening to listen to head-in-the-sand apologists for Islam treat it as just another religion. The "Well Christianity was violent, too" people are just not getting this fundamental difference between East and West. I anxiously await their further instruction at the interfaith fellowship breakfast to be held at the Church Hall of Our Lady of Riyadh RC Church a week after next Easter. I'll be passing out commemorative Bibles right after the Ham and Egg Breakfast.

The media are full of grim tidings that can be described as Jihad news. Some persist in believing that this Jihad news, from all over the world, is caused only by a "handful of extremists" who have "hijacked a great religion" (Variant 1) or "by fundamentalist Wahhabis" (Variant 2); both are wrong. Adherents of Islam, both Sunni and Shi'a, and within Sunni Islam, all four main schools of Muslim jurisprudence, share the same beliefs concerning the Infidels. Those who persist in avoiding these tenets, or in presenting a tortuous or guarded account, end up avoiding much in the 1350-year history of Islam. Those non-Muslims, including scholars, who practice such apologetics help, objectively, to further the Jihad. Thus, they constitute a danger to the rest of us.
