Uh, Miami-Dade went for Jeb Bush twice and has three Republican Reps (Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Mario Diaz Balart and Illeana Ros). It only went for Gore 52%-48% and my precinct went for Bush 70%. Compare this with Palm Beach or Broward County to the north, which went for Gore by hefty margins yet STILL tried funny business with the chads. --- Clemenza, Miami-Dade resident for the 2000 fiasco.

when the militant left, under the auspices of Richard Daley, wanted to steal an election, they chose south florida as the most conducive place to pull it off in. South Florida... corrupt? Naaahhh. Not my south florida.
