Nothing could be further from the truth. Rick Warren and Saddleback Church have been making a huge difference for believers and non-believers....
you're right... i know some people, of course, have issues with it--but for me, it's been a blessing... i am currently on day 14... i was skeptical at first... heck, i know my purpose... i'm keeping the journal, and when i look back to day 1's entry, i'm amazed at how my perspective has not exactly changed, but truly grown... i still do begin each chapter with skepicism, i've noticed... and there are one or two places i've noted in my book where i don't agree... but overall, it's been good for me--so far... it's helped me to live in the presence of Jesus daily... i am looking to get a copy of "The Practice of the Presence of God" by Brother Lawrence.
My wife and I started leading a small group as a result of the 40 Day campaign....
