I've always suspected that Democrats are the only ones who have ever seen a firearm jump up off of a table, by itself, and shoot somebody. Hence their almost monolithic support of gun control legislation. Must be something in the Kool-Aid.

This post keeps me humble. The replies make it clear that not all Conservatives or Republicans have intellectual capabilities greater than the average Liberal Democrat.

I'd like to see a Democrat write a similar post about why he is a Republican, and find out what the response would be. Which party would win the IQ test? I'm not so sure now.
