As soon as it becomes public domain in a functional manner of speaking - count on it being trashed. New York City is proof positive that original sin is a valid concept, for city management purposes, if nothing else.
NYC parks could be made vastly safer by repeal of the Sullivan Law. :)

If you're an ant... Not really.
But for roaches, it's paradise on earth.

What is the Sullivan Law? It has something to do with restricting firearms ownership, I believe.
To: Kennard
The Sullivan Law was the bright idea of a gubbamint official who didn't like the fact that the criminals preying on people walking over the Brooklyn Bridge were being killed by armed citizens.
Being as the criminals were Irish, and so was he, he passed the Sullivan Law and the rest is history.
He was just being a good representative of his constitutents, nad looking after his "power base". Ethnic politics has a long and very undesirable history.
In short, this crawling scum disarmed New Yawk residents. If I sound disrespectful of them, I am. What sort of fool allows his 2nd Amendment rights to be abridged?
