Of course the President is against 'amnesty'. It's a spin. This latest plan will move so many illegals into the legal category there won't be a need for amnesty. Therefore he can still be against amnesty and throw the borders wide open

If that happens, I am in full agreement with everyone on this board. However, since President Bush is known to do what he says, I would defer to his and Tom Ridge's comments on the matter, which clearly and unequivicably stand in contrast to your expectations.
