Britain's BSE outbreak was from the late 80's to the late 90's. Only 2000 cows were tested in the entire US from 1990 to 2000. 50,000 were tested from 2000 to current time and only done after some money was released by the Congress for the USDA to conduct survey tests. Bush my butt, who increased the surveys chumpie Dean? Dean is a loose cannon with a lit fuse.

Wasn't it under SLICK that the USDA changed some rules that will NOW allow certain diseased animals into the food chain? I think it was ones with tumors, cancer growths etc. To my way of thinking NO diseased animal should be allowed into the food chain.
The idiots at the processing plant should never have processed the meat once the BSE was determined. Better to take the loss on one cow than to take the beating they will now take.
