"It's all of our predicament...regarding this immigration reform package Dubyuh's proposing..."

Muddy boy, I'm not in a snit over *just* the IR matter, I'm pissed off over all the things this administration's done, the sum of the parts.

Just want to make sure you understand I'm not a person who sees life as "My way or the highway".
I truly believe in the power of compromise if one's going to make a honest, fair attempt to meet most of the people's wants & needs & our Republic.

But there comes a point & this man passed my point already, a couple of boondoggles ago.
See?

"...it's almost as if Bush expects it to be killed in Congress and he thinks he'll get the kudos from the Hispanics just fer proposing it, without ever having to sign it into law."

I have no idea -- whatsoever -- what's going through this guy's head. None. Nada.
Know why?
Because he ain't saying; and, as before with any one of the issues I listed previously, he's going to do what he pleases & to hell with those of my like mind.
Not my anger speaking either, Mud; rather, his track record.

"That ain't leadership, it's gutless posturing."

Maybe it is but unless one's psychic who really knows for sure what the *reasoning* -- if any -- there is behind this guy.
If it's anything like the "strategy" that made him sign CFR, then no thank you.
What I know for a fact is that what he's doing is unbelievably risky to his political future as well as the GOP.

It's maddening when ya think of it, kid.
We are attacked by Islamifanatics & he responds with the proverbial "El Kabong!" in both Afganistan *&* Iraq, routing the primary supporters of that kind of bullshit & for that he earns many people's love, admiration & trust.
His numbers are high, re-election almost guarenteed & the 'Rats are left to literally *invent* issues to try & derail Bush's juggernaut-size momentum & what does he do?
Makes every attempt -- he possibly can -- to derail himself with his base, people like you & I, & insodoing do the 'Rat's work, for them?
What's wrong with that picture.

Well, he's in for a rude surprise as far as this voter's concerned; because, me & my conservative voting neighbors?
We're talking.
A lot.
~& it ain't good.

"Dubyuh ain't earned my vote yet...MUD"

Nor mine, far fraom it.
And to those who'd try laying a guilt trip on those of us who're poised to either abstain from voting *or* cast our vote for the Libertarian/Constitution Party -- as our only avenue to protest to express our outrage -- possibly putting a 'Rat in the WH?
I say, "Go straight to hell! It's my vote & I'll do what I goddam please with it. I must live with myself & do what I deem is 'right' even IF [you] seem *challenged* by the concept."

In fact I once said conservatives outa invade the 'Rat Party in an attempt to change, influence the Liberal-Socialist to change their left-leaning ways, remember?
Well I'll tell ya Mud, if the 'Rats are reading the tea leaves properly?
Take ONE guess what they're going to [subtley] do with their political plank(s) in an effort to pick up just enough dissatisfied conservative voters to regain power?
Yea, move right while this POTUS -- appears -- to move left & for the same reason.
It's the 'Rat's only viable chance to pull off the upset of the millenium & it can work.
How ironic is that?

This POTUS had better damned well understand how periously close to winding up a one termer -- like his daddy -- he really is, given the razor thin margin that put him where he is?

He's really messed with the primal forces of nature Son, & I for one?

...will have no qualms a'tall sending him straight back to Texas.

Mud, Lan... Here's an idea that may get the President back on track; abstain from voting for him in the primary, while voting for all other measures, and candidates.
. If there is enough undervote, his political strategists MAY get the mesage. From what I'm reading, hearing and seeing, the White House phone lines are lit up with upset supporters over this immigration debacle.

I shudder to think what will happen if we get a Dem. in the White House, while we are at war with the Islamofascists... In my opinion, it will make the Iranian hostage situation pale in comparison. Dems are like children in this area (among other areas.)
We can't afford for this country to have Dean in power, while we are basicaly fighting WWIII, IMO. So we need to set Bush straight, for our own welfare and saftey, not so much for his political benefit.

Yep...The Right's Been Fergotten!!

It's a different version of DerSchleekMeister's "Triangulation Strategy", imho, as he thinks those of us on the Right have already been appeased and have nowhere else to go. Of course I ain't never gonna vote fer a RAT, but he's making a third-party vote seem that much more appealing.

"...me & my conservative voting neighbors? We're talking. A lot. ~& it ain't good."

Mine, too...MUD

It'll never happen...the RATS are Lefter than ever.

More and more folks are feelin' yer pain, dude.
