Same sort of show-case that made me belive the ACLU was neutral when they supported Oliver North. They look for these big conservative celebrity cases to support, in order to get non-leftwing folks to send them money. Don't be fooled.

If the ACLU did not pick up on this travesty abuse the civil rights, it would be criticized for hypocrisy in the first degree. Just because they exist to criticize politicians from the left, just like journalism does, is no sign that they are wrong in this case.

Actually, I hope he does. The ACLU doesn't usually stand up for civil rights unless it suits their political agenda.. They have had a lot of eyes on them lately. Be interesting to see how they handle this one.
