I thought they said it was used for animal food? they lied!... No, they said that the "muscle cuts" had been processed and vCJD was not transmitted by muscle cuts.
Translation: Although we did find the contaminated Holstein, it was 14 days after slaughter, so even though the meat had probably already been eaten, I'm serving beef over the holiday, even though my goose has already been cooked.

Interesting - another article states that the cow that tested positive was already being treated as ill and was tested as a precaution....I know I jsut read this this afternoon right here on FR.....
