Shrugging here. Last year spent Christmas and New Year's in NYC in support of the city and in defiance of the terrorists.

Had the most beautiful white Christmas ever! New Year's Eve was great and we rushed from the Metropolitan Opera to get to Times Square by midnight. We went to all the crowded tourist areas and felt perfectly secure. The shrug is because I didn't make plans to go there this year.

If we let fear prohibit us from moving freely (while remaining alert), the terrorists win.
