It was an odd but supportive crowd of 600 that turned out Saturday to salute Michael Jackson in his time of need.

Among the crowd was his sister, superstar performer Janet Jackson, who came with her on-again, off again fianc

Gee, I wonder why all the celebs "were rushed through the Neverland gates in limos with darkened glass"?

My sources said that Jackson did spend a big part of the dinner segment of the evening chatting with an unidentified dwarf.

Thanks for posting, more "celebs" to add to my own personal boycott list. I don't give my money to pedophile supporters.

I saw some video of a small RV going through the gates. I wonder who was hiding in the back of that.

My sentiments exactly. Other than his family, does anyone actually believe that Michael Jackson should be allowed anywhere near little boys?

Prominently displayed outside for all to see was a mural of Jackson with children surrounding him as if he were the Pied Piper.

There are no words for the sheer squickiness.

I think Jacko is off to Europe for good or at least until pedophilia is no longer a crime in the U.S. This was a goodbye party with a secondary motive to raise money to pay off Geragos and company. A trial would be expensive, plus if convicted, Jacko wouldn't 'thrive' in jail. The whole mess is a huge headache for Santa Barbara. If he stays in Europe, someplace where we can't extradite him, the county can say, "Golly, it's not our fault he lied. Who knew?"

Yeah, it wouldn't suprirse me in the least if he bailed for good; I'm surprised he's still here, in fact.

Reminds me of the Howard Stern book "Miss America" in which Howard relates the time that Jackson and his PR person came to him in a secret meeting, asking him to get his listeners to "take to the streets" for Michael, and then Jackson would come on the show, calming down the protestors. Stern refused.

Drudge in 1995: Howard Stern's new book MISS AMERICA is ripe with inside stories of absurd heights. The press noise coming from the book surrounds a secret meeting between Stern and fallen King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Stern reveals that Jackson offered to come on his show if he would urge his listeners to take to the streets in a show of support for him. The deal was never struck, but Howard does devote a chapter to Jackson titled: 'If you love children so much, where are the girls?'...

"Dwarf": Was Gary Coleman there?
PREDICTION: He will GET OFF (no pun intended). I am convinced more than ever that $$$ and fame=power and there are increasingly two standards in this country. Johnny Corchran is advising Jacko's team and in the end Jackson will get off scott free -- and the sleepovers continue. If it was Edgar Smith on the corner who did what Jackson did, he would have been in jail long ago. But he has money, his wealthy Hollywood friends are rallying to his side, his celebrity-smitten fans will defend him and be in denial all they want -- and they'll make mincemeat of the kid and his family (the kid will probably die during or before the trial due to the stress). But Jackson will one day get his just deserts.

Jackson will get off scott free

I have no doubt that this is true. I would love to see him stay in the UK, if for no other reason than it would make "the powers that be" who let him travel out of the states look bad. I'm trying to imagine any other person in the history of our judicial system who has such a high $$$ bond being allowed to leave the country.

Maybe Michael could move to France and become a spokesman for Eurodisney.

I'm inclined to say innocent until proven guilty. He should be convicted by a jury of his peers in a courtroom where all the facts can be laid out, but...

'If you love children so much, where are the girls?'...

As much as I dislike Howard Stern, he has a point here.

Rush asked the same question about Michael ("Where are the little girls") during the first MJ molestation payoff.
