Former U.S. Attorney General Ramsy Clarke expressed readiness Sunday, December 14, to act as defense lawyer for ousted Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, with western analysts suspecting the captured leader would be given fair trial.

WHY AM I NOT SURPRISE

Oh and when talking to people or email them about this .. Make sure to mention who Ramsey Clark once worked for

Heck... maybe he can entice Larry Klayman to drop out of the Florida Senate race and begin filing information request at the Hague and maybe get Bill Clinton to try his practice of law overseas since he's barred here for the time being.....

Now that would make a winning team .......

There are some from the left, like Hitchens, with whom one can at least share a basic set of human values. Then there are those, like Clarke, with whom I resent sharing the same planet with.

Now why am I not surprised? The only surprising thing about this is that none of us Freepers even thought about old Ramsey the commie.

Oh, he's not an American. He was Carter's Atty. General.

Saddam deserves an Iraqi lawyer. How arrogant of Ramsey to think otherwise.
