"One of the themes being promoted by Greens at this conference is that the American people want Kyoto-style measures to cut greenhouse gas emissions and that the close vote on McCain-Lieberman proves it."

As if the Senate has any clue about what "We the People" want.

The Rooskis said they'd sign up for Kyoto if they got paid for it. That tells me all I need to know.

Ah, but this bill had only 32 supporters, as Inhofe pointed out.

One thing is sure, some Greenie NGO representative from Europe have *no* clue what real Americans want, dont represent us, dont care about us, and just use such points as propaganda props for their own agenda. They are not above lying about it either, it seems.

Thanfully, Sen Inhofe is deflating their lies.

I for one would like to see the EUnichs buy off Russia into signing it...they would soon learn how big the real costs would be to their economic progress. Watching big chunks of the world economically hamstring themselves somehow amuses me. It would absolutely finish the EU as their economies crash.

The future powers are China, US, India...none will be bound by Kyoto.

All the "Greens" in the other EU nations who have effectively crippled or destroyed their native atomic energy industries would be stuck buying power from France's emissions-free nuclear power plants, or face freezing in the dark for the sake of the CO2 emissions of third world African nations.

The Euro pols are useing the false science behind global warming, to justify massive energy taxes.

The non stop propaganda has created the bizarre scenario, that most Europeans are happy to pay exorbitant sums of money, just to feel good. While the pols trouser the money and piss it away on socialist dreams.
