I think the greatest saying, and one that all will recognize is WE GOT HIM! Now if you can put that on a homemade bumper sticker, or write it on a T shirt with marking pen, you will be all set!

My favorite was around noon today when the moron reporter who was reporting in to Wolfie on CNN stated that there were no celebrations in the streets of Baghdad, although he conceded there may be some Iraqis happy about it in the "quiet of their homes".

"At least we can offer them a one way ticket to the destination of their choice - France?"
No, not France. I wish they could all get one way tickets to Hell.

The far-left have nothing positive to offer. They make giant puppets of Bush and cry about retreating, which solves nothing. They think they make a difference with "Free Tibet" and "No Iraq War" stickers on their Volvos listening to NPR, like that has ever made a difference.

Faggots, trash and democrats,,seems so appropos at this time. (They just hate it when a plan comes together.)

CNN: Shortly after the President's speech....
CNN commentator question to panelists, "Do you think that Iraqis will believe him when he now says that they no longer have to fear Saddam and his henchmen?"
President Bush specifically stated: "The capture of Saddam Hussein does not mean the end of violence in Iraq. We still face terrorists who would rather go on killing the innocent than accept the rise of liberty in the heart of the Middle East."
It took only minutes after President Bush's speech for CNN to falsify the historical record.

Rumsfeld was interviewed on CBS? by some leftist liberal angry bitter woman. She was trying to put words in Rumsfeld mouth about the WMD and it was funny how he put her in her place.
That would be Leslie Stahl (sp?)

I think patriotic Americans should insist they take that one way ticket to France.

AP wire, right after GW's speech......HUGE BLAST ROCKS BAGDAD Follow up: Gasoline truck blew up. No casualties. Possibly due to stray celebratory gunfire.

Heck they believe the media is conservative. Took me a while to figure that one out.I read a thread the other night and they were talking about Mara(sp?) Liasson, NPR, doing the bidding for "repugs". They think ALL media outlets are controlled by evil Republican corporations.

"I think Chris Matthews is having a breakdown in trying to negate any success from this news. Things like "Saddam was only a threat to his own people" and that "Bush has to get back to the war on terrorism and protecting the American people" are only meant to distract from this success."
Hey Chris Matthews, America HAS been hard at work protecting the American people all along. It is something called Homeland Security, which by the way, liberals don't understand and want to abolish anyway.

"We almost didn't have enough troops for the job!"Right! And we almost didn't thrust into Bagdad in only three weeks!
And we almost didn't capture Hussein without a shot fired!
But most of all, we almost didn't consider John F#@king Kerry to be a complete irrelevant Clymer!

Dana Priest (Wash Post): This is Iraq, this is not the war on terrorism.
Meet The Depressed: This show was loaded with dunb Liberal quotes. The roundtable included Robin Wright (Washington Post), David Broder (Washington Post), Dana Priest (Washington Post) and Andrea Mitchell (NBC News).
Mitchell said something like (I don't have the direct quote) George Bush won't get a bump out of the capture because everyone knows Hillary Rodham Clinton is the biggest Hawk on Iraq. Nobody on the panel blinked.

There are times when Matthews can act rather reasonable, but throughout the entire day, he was making some of the most ignorant comments I've ever heard him make. He was being rude to Peggy Noonan and even a couple liberal guests he had. He was actually upset that Gephardt preferred to have Saddam tried by a jury that had the death penalty option available. That's when he went on about an International Tribunal as he started taking swipes at Reagan.
As others pointed out the recent complicity by France, Germany and Russia in supplying Saddam with materials as late as 2003, he starts bringing up things that happened over 20 years ago. Heck, earlier today Tom Brokaw was actually talking about the possible ties between Saddam and AQ...yet when Matthews commented on Saddam's capture, he completely dismissed any ties to international terrorism and threat to the USA. The desperation is becoming obvious.

SADNESS ABOUNDS
http://timblair.spleenville.com/archives/005381.php The anti-war left has mixed feelings about a murderous dictators arrest:
"I had a horrible feeling in my stomach when I saw that Hussein had been captured."
By mixed, I mean a combination of loathing and idiocy.
Via reader Greg T. By the way, for excellent linkage on SaddamFest 2003, check out The Command Post.
UPDATE. Howard Deans supporters are distraught:
"Sigh. All I can think about is the effect of Saddam's capture on the Dean campaign! ... Somebody cheer me up, please!"
I'd love to, but I'm not licensed to prescribe psychotropic medication. Next:
"It is hard to believe this adminstration about Saddam when they are prone to lying about Thanksgiving TURKEYS...and what was that about BA pilots see Airforce One which was also a lie."
It was a plastic Saddam! Canada can evidently expect an influx of peace tards:
"todays events makes me pity our country even more....not that I like Hussein, but that now his capture seems to make us righteous in our invasion to somehow.....I feel the US will sink to newer lows and unprecedented actions globally....and makes Canada even more attractive to me."
And my favourite, which may or may not be satire:
"Damn it, CNN is again showing Iraqi citizens celebrating Saddam's capture. This is not good! Dean shouldn't say anything for now. He should immediately contact Paul Krugman of the NY Times for advice on how to put a negative spin on this."
Via contributor Zsa Zsa, who has never contacted Paul Krugman.

From the comments at
http://www.blogforamerica.com/: Sigh. All I can think about is the effect of Saddam's capture on the Dean campaign!
Gov. Dean and his advisers are going to have to scramble to incorporate this into his foreign policy address on Monday, preferably in a message that they'll be able to stick with. And they probably had a brilliant, winning speech worked out.
Bush and his team will be crowing about the capture in every statement for the next year.
I'm sorry to say it, but in many voters' minds, there may be only one thought about Bush come election day: "He caught Saddam."
And yes, Trippi's TV appearance today may be preempted in favor of something about the capture.
Somebody cheer me up, please!

I feel like making a home made bumper sticker - any ideas? It might be too much for a bumper sticker, but I have one idea. You could have a picture of the captured Sadam with the caption, "Thank me, I voted for Bush."

Can you think of anything normal Americans can do/wear/say tomorrow when out and about at work, school and shopping to display our joy and pride, and discomfit and shame the leftists? I know a flag pin, but can you think of some emblem, symbol? I feel like making a home made bumper sticker - any ideas?
