Bush blamed for flu vaccine shortage

Call it the Bush flu.

With flu outbreaks in every state and widespread in 24 states, and with the two vaccine manufacturers having already shipped all 83 million doses, the issue is becoming political.

Sen. John Edwards, North Carolina Democrat and one of nine candidates seeking his party's presidential nomination, said the government should have done more to ensure a larger supply of vaccine.

IIRC, congressional Dems, including Hildebeast, imposed price caps on flu vaccine. Several years ago a dozen or so companies made the vaccine. Now, only two because it is almost impossible to produce without incurring a loss.

Voila: shortage of flu vaccine.

Clinton set price controls on vaccines and the trial lawyer vermin drove almost all manufacturers out of business.

Amazingly there are many fools who believe the rats as they try to pin this on Bush, who was spit upon by these same democrats when he proposed tort reform.

Nice work by the media - see how it's done:

Step 1: Run stories on the 'serious flu season that is coming'.
Step 2: Report that more people are getting flu shots and that people should hurry so they get their shots before they run out.
Step 3: Report that supplies of the shots are almost gone and people are waiting in line just to get their flu shots.

End result: Media created 'emergency'.

And now we see step 4: It's all bush's fault.

He has asked for companies to explain the shortage and for the General Accounting Office to investigate the Bush administration's response, particularly that of Dr. Julie Gerberding, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I am astounded as I watch the dems come up with one slander after another, one fiction after another, pound it until the populace believe it. The pubs better get out on Hillary's vaccine shortage and do it over and over or in a week or two everyone will blame Bush for this.

Think of the things that the dems are creating lies and misconceptions about. The Bush flu vaccine shortage, the Post war "debacle" in Iraq, the Bush recession, it goes on and on. Now they are doing a second attack on Cheney via a minor Haliburton glitch which Cheney was uninvolved in. I swear, soon we will read of Laura Bush stealiing things from the WH or mistreating servants. Oh and don't forget the painting the twins black over a margarita. The dems are slime but damn, the public has the habit of buying in.
