As a Christian, I have a real problem with the time he equated Allah with Jehovah...

It makes me think about voting libertairian because there may not be a choice next year, cause I sure as heck will not vote for a Demoncrat.

I am a Christian to but the liberterians are stauch believers in separation of church and state. You have to play with the devil sometimes, and what is the president of the United States going to say. That Allah is evil. I have no doubt he believes that if he is a born again christian but you have to be "diplomatic"... No reason not to vote for a born again christian president who doesnt use the mantle of religion when it suits him like Clinton did.

He's half right. Muslims are actually waiting for the return of Christ.
Way back when, their religion was the worship of a moon God. The Christians came through the area and taught them about Christ. They then mixed their moon God (some were not willing to give him up) with the Christian God of Abraham. That's why some are for peace, some for ruling the world through oppression. It's a mix of the two.
Voo-Doo is a mix of ancient rituals and Catholicism because of missionaries.

It makes me think about voting libertairian

Libertarians support a liberal lifestyle - anti-Biblical. You might want to check out their positions before you pull that lever or punch that hole.

As a Christian you should be worried about the actions of the courts before you worry about the thoughts of the President. You can't change the courts without George Bush and a few more Republican Senators.

C.S. Lewis addresses the question in his Narini book "The Last Battle". In it a follower of Tash [Allah] makes it into heaven. Aslan [Jesus] explain:

"He answered, Child, all the service thou hast done to Tash, I account as service done to me. Then by reasons of my great desire for wisdom and understanding, I overcame my fear and questioned the Glorious One and said, Lord, is it then true, as the Ape said, that thou and Tash are one? The Lion growled so that the earth shook ( but his wrath was not against me ) and said, It is False. Not because he and I are one, butbecause we are opposites, I take to me the services which thou hast don to him. For I and he are of such different kinds that no service which is vile can be done to me, and none which is not vile can be done to him. Therefore if any man swear by Tash and keep his oath for the oatth's sakeit is by me that he hast truly sworn, though he know it not, and it is I who reward him. And though he says the name Aslan, it is Tash whom he serves and by Tash his deed is accepted. Dost thou understand, Child?"

You really shouldn't announce your "Christianity" and then make statements like that.

I understand your point, and agree. However, there IS only one God. Bush didn't say the Muslims were worshipping in spirit and in truth.

Yes, I can see how the president professing a belief that there is but one God would bother "a Christian".

As a Christian, you need to do more research.

To many, the Bible taken literally can be very confusing. To ease the burden, changes were made, and certains assumptions were allowed.

Certain terms were used interchangeably, like GOD, Jehovah, Lord, and the assumption is they are all one and the same. They aren't.

GOD is GOD. Jehovah is Regent of the Moon.

Look up Allah, and look up Jehovah. Allah (Moon God), Jehovah (regent of the Moon). Pretty much the same thing.

President Bush was actually correct in his comparison.

I voted Libertarian in 2000 and regret it. It was a selfish stupid thing to do.

As a Christian and a registered voter, I'm glad that I can see the difference between a religious leader and a political one.

Which candidate holds exactly the same views as you?

He was right. Same God, different view of him.
I'm a Christian, I don't agree with the Jewish
idea of God or the Muslim idea, but it's clear
to me that we're talking about the same being.
